Book Calls Christians to Action in Rebuilding God's Temple

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) December 2, 2009 -- Xulon author Jon Eric Lambert's new release, Mountains before the Temple: Removing the Roadblocks, Rebuilding the Temple (paperback) explores Jewish, Christian, and Muslim mountains that stand in the way of rebuilding the Temple. This engaging book leads readers to appreciate the forward-looking faith of Solomon and the courage of the Sons of the Exile, who built the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The teachings of Jesus, Daniel, and Paul are interlocked in this future Temple, and readers will investigate how to remove mountains before it can be rebuilt.

Says Lambert, "Mountains before the Temple calls us to action. The book suggests what we can do to remove the mountains that hinder the rebuilding of the Temple. [It is a sober, unique, post-tribulational challenge to Christians to be partners with modern Temple builders. This goal requires Christians and Jews to rethink old prejudices. [It opens a different kind of dialogue with Israel based on their ancient prayers and aspirations."

A graduate of Washington Bible College and Denver Seminary, Lambert's studies on the lost tribes of Israel began thirty years ago and dovetailed with an interest in the First and Second Comings of Christ and the Temple in Jerusalem. Having served for 20 years in the United States Army Chaplaincy, his visits to the Middle East include Somalia, Iraq, and Pakistan and have played a part in gathering information for this book. He believes Christians can play a critical role in bringing back their Savior by helping Israel in its historic quest to rebuild the Temple.
